Froyle Park Wedding Venue
Froyle Park is a popular countryside wedding venue located on the Surrey / Hampshire border. Due to the size of the venue it’s popular as an Asian wedding venue as they are able to accept up to 300 guests in the Grand Ballroom. The Great Hall is another indoor part of the building suited for up to 130 guests or you could have the ceromony outside under the Dome which is suitable for a capacity of 240 guests. This particular wedding was an Asian wedding and I was booked to chaperone Nala the Beagle.

I spent 2 nights looking after Nala at Froyle Park in one of the dog friendly bedrooms. The room contained a fridge and small kitchen area so I was able to give Nala her meals. The grounds of Froyle Park are fairly extensive and were perfect to walk Nala between those times when she was required to take part in the ceromony or be part of any photos or video.
Nala is the family dog who lives with the groom’s family. They had purchased an Indian inspired outfit for Nala, a red Lehenga with gold detailing. Nala isn’t used to wearing clothes so wasn’t particularly keen but we would dress her for certain parts of the day. Nala also had a small jewellery case around her neck for one part of the ceromony where she was introduced to the guests to the music from The Lion King (Nala was named after the character from the film).

K9 Weddings Dog Chaperone Service
Whilst we are based in Northampton we do carry out weddings in many different counties. Normally we will travel up to 2 hours from our location but we do sometimes consider bookings further away, as in this case for the wedding at Froyle Park.
We list 3 packages on our website, Gold, Silver and Bronze which covers most of the usual requests we receive. We can also provide bespoke quotes, for example where total hours of care fall between the Silver and Gold packages, or indeed where we are required for two nights instead of just the one night offered as part of the Gold package.
The 2024 wedding season is coming to an end but we are still receiving enquiries and have 2 bookings for November. Naturally we are also receiving bookings for 2025 but there is still plenty of availability for couples who are looking for a wedding dog chaperone service.
