Sharing Your Special Day With Your Furry Friend
As a dog owner myself I understand that special bond between dogs and people. It’s only natural to want to share your wedding day with a very important family member.
I offer a selection of wedding dog chaperone packages that allow your pooch or pooches to take part in your wedding day. Everything from just a couple of hours help with pet transportation and assisting with with the photographs right up to a full day including staying with your dog(s) overnight. I can also offer custom quotes for those special requests where you require my services for durations outside our listed packages.

Meet Gary box, owner of K9 Weddings
When I am not chaperoning dogs at weddings, I run my established local pet care companies right here in Northamptonshire. You might already know me through my daily group and solo walking services at Northampton Dog Walker, or through my trusted pet transport & live-in sitting and boarding options at Premium Dog Walkers.
My deep background in the industry also includes founding the national transport company PetsA2B (which I successfully operated before selling it in 2022 to focus on this new venture). Across all my services, my goal remains the same: providing five-star, absolute peace of mind for your pets.

Security Checked
I hold a DBS / CRB security check certificate. This gives peace of mind should you ask me to look after your dog in your home on the night of the wedding. Please ask to see the certificate at the meet and greet.
Complete Service
I offer a complete service when it comes to caring for your dog. This can extend to staying with your dog overnight or indeed for longer if you require cover for a honeymoon.
Dog First Aid Trained
As I routinely work with dogs in our other pet businesses I have taken a canine first aid course. I would be happy to show the certificate and explain the content of the course upon request.
My Wedding Dog Chaperone Packages
The following packages cover the needs of about 90% of all couples. I can however offer custom quotes when needed, for instance if you require me for two nights or where you have multiple dogs that require more than one chaperone.
Bronze
£170
The price for the Bronze package is £170 and covers up to 3 hours of total dog care
Silver
£270
The price for the Silver package is £270 and covers up to 6 hours of total dog care
Gold
£320
The price for the Gold package is £320 and will see me stay at the venue until 11pm
Platinum
£390
The price for the Platinum package is £390 and includes all duties on the day and overnight care

Gary was the ultimate professional who took all our worries away so we could relax and enjoy our special day while also allowing us to have Sully participate in it.

We contacted K9 Weddings and Gary was exceptional. He met with Chip before the event to make sure Chip wasn’t scared and on the day was amazing. Chip was there for photos and a sausage from the BBQ then Gary took some photos and assisted with our photographer get snaps as a family before taking Chip home for a wee, drink, food and a snuggle on the sofa. Perfect!
Gary looked after our 2 dogs Bandit & Nala, at our wedding on the 19th of July 2025. He was absolutley excellent! Having 2 big dogs we were not sure how they would be at a busy outdoor wedding with everyone dressed up nicely, however Gary had the dogs well exercised, let them meet our guests and also pose for photos with our photographer on the day.
We would highly recommend Gary for anyone who needs a dog chaperone for their wedding. Our dog, Cody, struggles with separation anxiety and we were initially worried about how he would cope on such a busy day, but Gary was amazing with him. He took the time to understand Cody’s personality and kept him as comfortable and relaxed as possible throughout the day, whilst allowing him to be as involved as he could. Thank you, Gary!
Gary dealt with our 2 young labradors brilliantly! They both are rambunctious boys that get very excited and pull on leads (we are working on this) but Gary wasn’t fazed at all, he looked after them calmly with care, had them where they needed to be for their roles in the wedding and for the photos and he got some amazing photos of our boys himself, all of which we appreciate so much. I would recommend him to anyone as it was so nice to be so confident that our boys were well looked after while we danced the night away.
